Selera: Made to last. Meant to matter.
Selera was founded in 2020 by stylist and designer Valeriia Semchuk, driven by a vision to change the fashion industry from within. After years of working in fashion, Valeriia witnessed the enormous waste and environmental damage it leaves behind — how even the most beautiful garments quickly become disposable. She knew it was time to create something different.
Selera was born from a belief in timeless design, lasting quality, and planet-conscious production. Every piece is carefully crafted to endure — made for people, not landfills.
Today, Selera is available in six countries, with runway shows in London, Zurich, and most recently, Ukrainian Fashion Week. We’ve also opened our own showroom — a physical embodiment of our mission: fashion that respects people, the planet, and its own conscious rhythm of growth.
As seen on
“We produce in small batches using deadstock and eco-friendly materials, sourced solely from European suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint and ensure full supply chain transparency. Our production follows a zero-waste model, using every last scrap of fabric, and our packaging is completely free of plastic and paper. We also practice open pricing to promote fairness and build trust with our customers.”
At Selera, ethics matter. Every garment is made under safe, fair working conditions with respectful pay and dignity at every step.
